Pie Crumble Topping
If you are using store bought pie crusts, or if you’re making pie dough and want to get two pies out of it, a crumble topping can be a delicious way to put a top on your pie. This is very easy to make and adds a lot of flavor to a variety of fruit pies.
Pie Crumble Topping
Ingredients
- ¾ cup cold butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup flour
- ¾ cup pecan pieces 6 oz
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Grind the pecans in the food processor.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend, using the processor to cut in the butter.
- Sprinkle over the top of your pies and bake according your recipe.
