Dutch Oven Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake

Here’s an easy but hearty and decadent dessert for the crew at the campsite.
Dutch Oven Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cans cherry pie filling
- 1 box chocolate pudding cake mix
- 1 20 oz bottle of cherry pop
- 1/2 bag of chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions
- Use a dutch oven liner for this recipe.
- Place the cans of pie filling in the bottom of the dutch oven.
- Sprinkle the cake mix over the cherry pie filling.
- Gently pour the cherry pop over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top
- Cover and bake for 35-45 minutes, using:
- 5-6 briquettes underneath.
- 20 briquettes around the rim.
- 3-4 briquettes in the middle of the lid.
- Can be topped with ice cream or whipped topping.
