Tuscan Grill

Tuscan Grill

Italian doesn’t have to mean tomato sauce. This tangy, savory marinade works great on beef steak, pork steaks, or pork chops and pairs well with a salad or roasted veggies.

Tuscan Grill

Ingredients

  • 3-5 # of Pork Chops or Pork Steaks
  • ½ cup Olive Oil
  • ½ cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Honey or Apple Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup chopped sun dried tomatoes optional
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine the ingredients; whisk to emulsify the oil
  • Marinade the meat in a bag or shallow dish, overnight or for at least 2 hours
  • Preheat the grill to high heat (400-500 degrees F).
  • Remove the meat from the marinade, and pour the remaining marinade into a cup measure or small pitcher.
  • Place the meat on the grill, and pour or brush some of the marinade on the meat to keep it moist
  • Season with salt & pepper (I use Cavender’s)
  • Flip halfway through, brush some more of the marinade on top and season again.
  • Grill the meat to 145 degrees internal temperature. This will take 10 to 20 minutes depending on the thickness of the cuts.
  • Serve with a side of pasta and roasted veggies or salad.

Notes

A pair of marinated pork steaks, ready for the grill.
