Dutch Oven Apple Cinnamon Rolls


This dish is about as easy as it gets, and you can serve it for breakfast or for a dessert! You can easily double this recipe for a larger group.

Dutch Oven Apple Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 1 tube cinnamon rolls
- ¼ cup heavy cream or half & half
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Start 24 charcoal briquettes or pull equivalent coals from your campfire.
- Place a liner in your Dutch Oven
- Quarter the cinnamon rolls and put them in the bottom of the Dutch Oven
- Add the apple pie filling and stir through.
- Pour the heavy cream over the top and then stir everything through
- Put 18 of the coals on the lid and the rest under the Dutch Oven, and bake for 30-45 minutes
- Drizzle with the frosting from the cinnamon rolls when done and serve with coffee.
