Hibachi Noodles


Here is a quick, easy and delicious side dish to serve with chicken, pork or beef. You can also use the sauce for the noodles as a marinade for your meat, as long as you heat the sauce up to a boil before adding it to the noodles. Serve this up with some veggies for a complete meal.

Hibachi Noodles
Ingredients
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp Teriyaki sauce
- 1 lb linguini or spaghetti cooked al dente
- 3 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup chopped onion
- ¼ cup chopped green pepper
- 2-3 cloves minced garlic
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix the soy sauce, Teriyaki and brown sugar together. Optionally, you can use this first to marinate your meat for 2-8 hours.
- Cook the noodles to al dente.
- If you used the sauce as a marinade for your meat, put it in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil and then simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium high heat
- Add the onion and green pepper and cook until soft.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the cooked noodles and stir through.
- Add the sauce, and toss to coat the noodles.
- Taste and add salt or pepper as needed.
- Remove from the heat and drizzle with the sesame oil.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
