Dutch Oven Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 1# Beef, ground, chunks or slices
- Salt & pepper
- 2 Tbsp flour
- ¼ cup olive oil and/or butter
- ½ onion, chopped
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 14 Oz beef broth
- ¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Cans mushrooms with juice
- 2 Tablespoon Catsup
- 1 Tbsp Parsley
- 2 cups dry egg noodles
- 1 or 2 cups sour cream
Instructions
- Start 24 briquettes
- Season & flour the beef
- Place the ready briquettes under the oven and brown the beef.
- When half done, add the onions.
- When mostly done, add the garlic.
- When the beef is done, add the broth, Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, ketchup and parsley and stir through.
- Move 18 briquettes on top.
- Cook for 20-30 minutes.
- Add the noodles, and check after 20 minutes.
- Add some broth, wine, beer or water if needed.
- Cook another 10 minutes if the noodles aren’t done.
- When the noodles are done, add the sour cream and cook another 10 minutes.
- Garnish with some additional parsley.
- Serve with hot crusty bread and a salad.
