This has been a long time family favorite recipe, because it is so creamy and delicious, and its a large recipe so you can feed a crowd.

Cheesy Hash Brown Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs frozen hash browns thawed
  • 2 cup shredded cheddar sharp, or Colby
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground red pepper
  • Topping
  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes Ritz crackers, or potato chips
  • ½ cup melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350o
  • Mix the first 8 ingredients and put in a sprayed 11×14 dish.
  • Add the crushed corn flakes to the butter and mix them together
  • Sprinkle them over the top of the potatoes and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
