If you think cabbage is plain, or boring, or bitter, think again. These cabbage steaks are sweet and crispy and savory. They are also easy to make.

Ingredients
- 1 small head of cabbage
- Olive Oil
- Seasoning (I like Cavender’s for this)
- Lemon Juice
- Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut the bottom off of the cabbage to remove the stem and create a flat spot.
- Remove any dark leaves from the outside.
- Place the cabbage on the flat spot, and then slice into 3/4 to 1″ slices.
- Place the slices on a sheet pan, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning.
- Flip the slices over and repeat.
- Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with lemon juice and Parmesan cheese before serving.
