Black Bean Salsa Dip

Jump to recipe
This is a more substantial dip than salsa, with rich creaminess and a lot of flavor. This would go well with chips or crackers.
Ingredients
- 1 can black beans
- 8 oz of salsa
- 8 oz of diced green chilies
- Chopped jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz sour cream
- Shredded CoJack cheese
Instructions
- Heat the beans to a low boil, and mash most of the beans into a paste after they have cooked for a little while.
- Add the salsa and chilies and mix through.
- Add jalapenos to the level of heat wanted.
- Add the sour cream and mix through.
- Add shredded cheese and blend; you can keep adding shredded cheese until the dip reaches the consistency that you want.
