This is a quick and easy salsa to make from your fresh garden ingredients. The heat will be up to you, add as many or as few peppers as you would like. This recipe is based on a recipe for the restaurant salsa used by ArnieTex.

Ingredients
- 5 Roma Tomatoes
- 2-5 Serrano Peppers
- 1/4 – 1/2 of an onion
- 1 small can of diced chilies
- 2-3 chipotle in adobo sauce
- 1 can of diced or crushed tomatoes
- Lime juice, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- If you have time, you can roast your fresh veggies on the grill, in a skillet, or in the oven.
- Rough chop your fresh ingredients so they will process better.
- Start by adding about 20% of your ingredients to the blender plus 1 tsp of salt. Blend this until smooth.
- Add the rest of your ingredients to the blender and pulse in short bursts until processed to a consistent size – do not blend.
- Taste and add more salt or lime juice if needed.
- Serve with chips, on tacos, or eggs.
