Italian doesn’t have to mean tomato sauce. This tangy, savory marinade works great on beef steak, pork steaks, or pork chops and pairs well with a salad or roasted veggies.
Notes
A pair of marinated pork steaks, ready for the grill.
Ingredients
- ½ cup Olive Oil
- ½ cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 2-4 chopped sundried tomato (optional)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 3-5# of Pork Chops or Steaks
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients; whisk to emulsify the oil
- Marinade the meat in a bag or shallow dish, overnight or for at least 2 hours
- Preheat the grill to high heat (400-500 degrees F).
- Remove the meat from the marinade, and pour the remaining marinade into a cup measure or small pitcher.
- Place the meat on the grill,and season with Cavender’s
- Pour or brush some of the marinade on the meat to keep it moist
- Flip halfway through, and pour or brush some more of the marinade on top
- Grill the meat to 145 degrees internal temperature. This will take 10 to 20 minutes depending on the thickness of the cuts.
- Serve with a side of pasta and roasted veggies or salad.
