Teriyaki

Teriyaki

The delicious mix of salty and sweet. This marinade works well on beef, pork, chicken and/or veggies. This recipe will make enough for 2 large steaks, 4 pork chops, or 4 chicken breasts.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • ½ cup orange juice water will work
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar or White Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 2 Tbsp dried onion flakes
  • 1 tsp ground ginger or two tsp fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • A few drops of sesame oil you can skip this if you don’t have it, but it really adds to the flavor of any Oriental dish

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a small sauce pan
  • Bring to a boil and then simmer for a few minutes
  • Allow to cool, and add to your meat in a bowl or zip lock bag.
  • Marinade at least 2 hours or overnight.
