Taco Seasoning
Jump to recipe
This is for making your own taco meat at home, and will save you lots of money compared to the little packets from the store. I just made a batch and this ended up costing less than half as much as the individual packets from the store. I have also used this for seasoning meats I’m going to grill for a Mexican or Southwestern meal.
To make taco meat, brown 1# of ground beef, pork, chicken or turkey in a skillet. Then add 2/3 cups of water and 2 Tablespoons of the Taco Seasoning and heat to boiling. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
