Ingredients
- 2# of beef (roast, stew meat, or steak) cut into 1 inch pieces. We like to make a big roast and then use the leftovers for stew.
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 Tbsp Kitchen Bouquet
- 4 medium carrots, sliced
- 3 medium potatoes, cut into 1″ pieces
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 clove garlic, minced (or 1/4 tsp granulated garlic)
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- Place your meat in the slow cooker.
- Premix the corn starch, salt and pepper together. Sprinkle this mix over the meat and stir to coat the meat evenly.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir through.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours.
- Serve in bowls with some crusty bread or biscuits for dunking.
