The Original White Castle Slider

Based on the classic White Castle hamburgers, sliders have become a popular option for parties and have gone far beyond greasy little hamburgers. You can make these many different ways with different meats, sauces, and garnishes.

Ingredients
- 1 dozen small buns – King’s Hawaiian Sweet Buns are a good choice.
- 1.5 pounds of meat – small hamburger patties, shredded beef, shredded chicken, pulled pork or ham slices are all popular.
- A sauce or butter of some sort – I like to use Garlic Butter, Cowboy Butter, or Spicy Mayo.
- A small slice of cheese tastes good, particularly with hamburgers or ham slices.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350.
- Cut all of the buns in half and place the bottoms all together in a 9×13 casserole dish.
- Place a portion of your meat on each bottom half.
- If wanted, place a slice of cheese on each sandwich.
- Spread some flavored butter or sauce on each of the top halves and then place them on top of the sandwiches.
- Bake in your oven for 10-15 minutes until the tops of the buns are browned and the meat is heated through.
