This potent seasoning blend originally comes from the blends used to make kosher deli meats. It stands up well to the full taste of beef steaks. The coarse texture of the seasoning also makes for an interesting presentation.
This recipe is in parts, so your parts can be teaspoons, tablespoons, spice containers or cups depending on what you can buy.
Ingredients
- 2 parts coarse black pepper
- 2 parts coarse sea salt
- 1 part paprika
- 1 part granulated garlic
- 1 part granulated onion
- 1 part coriander seeds, crushed
- 1 part dill seeds, crushed
- 1 part rosemary, crushed
- 1 part crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
- Store in an airtight container in a cool dry space.
