Jalapeno Popper Dip

Imagine taking those delicious Jalapeno Poppers and spreading them on a cracker – that’s what you get with this delicious dip. It comes together quickly, and it will disappear about as quickly.
Ingredients
- 4 strips bacon fried crispy and crumbled
- Chopped jalapenos, about half as much as the rest of the ingredients combined
- Garlic, minced, or garlic powder to taste
- 8 oz cream cheese
- Fine shredded cheese, 1 cup
- Cumin to taste
- Salt to taste
- Lime juice to taste
- Sour cream
Instructions
- Fry the bacon until you can crumble it.
- Fine chop the peppers and the garlic.
- When the bacon is done, cook the peppers and garlic in the bacon grease.
- Mix the softened cream cheese, most of the bacon bits and shredded cheese, and the seasonings to taste.
- Add enough lime juice and sour cream to get a soft consistency.
- Sprinkle the reserved bacon bits and shredded cheese on top, and chill for a few hours.
- If you would like to serve this hot and gooey, you can mix it up as above and then put it back into the skillet, top with the bacon and cheese, and warm in a 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.
