This is a really simple and delicious breakfast. It’s popular with backpackers, but works great for car camping too. We always make it for two, but the recipe ingredients are per person so you can make as small or as large of a batch as you would like.

The dry ingredients in our camp pot ready for water.
Ingredients
- Dried Cranberries – ~¼ cup per person
- Cuties – 1 per person
- Cinnamon or Pumpkin Pie Spice, couple dashes per person
- Dry Granola – Oats & Honey, 1 bar per person or ¼ cup loose
- Water – just enough to almost cover the ingredients
Instructions
- Peel the cuties and separate the sections.
- Combine all of the ingredients into your pot. Add enough water to almost cover.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes until the cranberries are soft and the oranges are starting to break up.
- You can choose to let it soak longer or shorter, depending on how soft you want the granola.
