Grilled Beef Roast

Grilled Beef Roast

Here’s another way to cook your Sunday roast. This method adds a lot of flavor and is really easy to do. This works best with a higher quality roast, such as a Top Sirloin Roast. The flavor is robust, so I like to serve it with both the dark gravy and some brown mustard.

  • Heat your grill as hot as it can get.
  • Clean and oil the grate.
  • Sear the roast on high for 5 minutes on each side.
  • Place the roast in a roasting pan with rack and put back on the grill.
  • Turn one burner off and turn the other burner to medium.
  • Roast for 45-60 minutes, until 140 degrees internal temperature.
  • Remove the meat, leaving it on the rack and let it rest covered with foil for 10 minutes.
  • Use the drippings in the pan to make a nice dark gravy.
