Fudge Stripe Cookie Salad

Here is another delicious sweet salad, this time using broken pieces of cookies, mandarin oranges and pineapple in a vanilla pudding cloud.
Fudge Stripe Cookie Salad
Ingredients
- 2 3.4 oz packages vanilla instant pudding
- 2 cups buttermilk or, you can use whole milk
- 2 8 oz containers Cool-Whip frozen whipped topping
- 1 20 oz can pineapple tidbits, drained well
- 2 11 oz cans of mandarin oranges, drained well
- 3/4 11.5 oz package fudge-striped cookies (I use the Keebler brand).
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the dry pudding mix and buttermilk.
- Fold in the Cool-Whip.
- Stir in the pineapple and mandarin oranges.
- Break the cookies into bite-size pieces and gently fold into the salad mixture.
- If you want, you can break up some of the remaining cookies to sprinkle over the top.
- Serve immediately – if you want to make this ahead of time, just wait to add the cookie pieces until right before you serve it.
