Fruit Cobbler
Jump to recipe
This was a recipe I originally got from my mom. I think she usually used canned cherry or apple pie filling. We have rhubarb growing in the garden, so that is what we most commonly use. I think this would be delicious with any fruit you choose.

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup quick oatmeal
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup softened butter
- 1 can of fruit pie filling or two cups of fresh fruit (you may want to sprinkle sugar on the fresh fruit, especially if it’s a tart fruit like apples or rhubarb).
Instructions
- Preheat the over to 350 degrees F.
- If using fresh fruit, cut it up into bite sized pieces and add sugar if needed.
- Mix the flour and sugars, cut in the butter. I used a food processor to do this.
- Add the oats and mix well.
- Spread 2/3 of the mixture on the bottom of a greased 8-9” square pan.
- Spread on the fruit filling and then the rest of the crumb mix.
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
