This was a recipe I originally got from my mom. I think she usually used canned cherry or apple pie filling. We have rhubarb growing in the garden, so that is what we most commonly use. I think this would be delicious with any fruit you choose.
1 can of fruit pie filling or two cups of fresh fruit (you may want to sprinkle sugar on the fresh fruit, especially if it’s a tart fruit like apples or rhubarb).
Instructions
Preheat the over to 350 degrees F.
If using fresh fruit, cut it up into bite sized pieces and add sugar if needed.
Mix the flour and sugars, cut in the butter. I used a food processor to do this.
Add the oats and mix well.
Spread 2/3 of the mixture on the bottom of a greased 8-9” square pan.
Spread on the fruit filling and then the rest of the crumb mix.
