Cheesy Hash Brown Potatoes

This has been a long time family favorite recipe, because it is so creamy and delicious, and its a large recipe so you can feed a crowd.
Cheesy Hash Brown Potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 lbs frozen hash browns thawed
- 2 cup shredded cheddar sharp, or Colby
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- ½ cup finely chopped onion
- ½ cup melted butter
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground red pepper
- Topping
- 2 cups crushed corn flakes Ritz crackers, or potato chips
- ½ cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350o
- Mix the first 8 ingredients and put in a sprayed 11×14 dish.
- Add the crushed corn flakes to the butter and mix them together
- Sprinkle them over the top of the potatoes and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
