Teriyaki

The delicious mix of salty and sweet. This marinade works well on beef, pork, chicken and/or veggies. This recipe will make enough for 2 large steaks, 4 pork chops, or 4 chicken breasts.
Ingredients
- ½ cup Soy Sauce
- ½ cup orange juice (water will work)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar or White Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 2 Tbsp dried onion flakes
- 1 tsp ground ginger, or two tsp fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
- A few drops of sesame oil (you can skip this if you don’t have it, but it really adds to the flavor of any Oriental dish)
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a small sauce pan
- Bring to a boil and then simmer for a few minutes
- Allow to cool, and add to your meat in a bowl or zip lock bag.
- Marinade at least 2 hours or overnight.
