loaf of Cinnamon Swirl Bread

of milk - I like to use whole milk for cooking
4
eggs
Butter
Syrup
Powdered Sugar
Instructions
Preheat a skillet or griddle over the stove or a fire.
Cook some sausage or bacon first if you would like - the salty meat goes great with the sweet french toast, and this will help the pan to not stick.
Beat together the eggs and the milk.
Dip the slices of bread into the milk/egg batter and place onto the hot griddle.
Flip the slices when browned on the first side.
Remove when finished and keep warm on a plate near the stove or fire.
Serve with butter and syrup and/or powdered sugar.
