Cinnamon French Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf of Cinnamon Swirl Bread
  • 1/2 cup of milk - I like to use whole milk for cooking
  • 4 eggs
  • Butter
  • Syrup
  • Powdered Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat a skillet or griddle over the stove or a fire.
  • Cook some sausage or bacon first if you would like - the salty meat goes great with the sweet french toast, and this will help the pan to not stick.
  • Beat together the eggs and the milk.
  • Dip the slices of bread into the milk/egg batter and place onto the hot griddle.
  • Flip the slices when browned on the first side.
  • Remove when finished and keep warm on a plate near the stove or fire.
  • Serve with butter and syrup and/or powdered sugar.
