Potato Cauliflower Mash

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • An equal weight of Russet potatoes
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 4 Tbsp Butter
  • Milk if needed
  • Seasoning of your choice I like Cavenders

Instructions
 

  • Half fill a large saucepan with water and add 2 tsp of salt.
  • Peel and quarter the potatoes and put in the water.
  • Cut up the head of cauliflower and add to the water. The stem can also be cut up and mashed along with everything else.
  • Bring the water to a boil and then simmer for 25 minutes.
  • While simmering, mince the garlic.
  • Drain the water, and add the garlic and butter.
  • Mash the potatoes and cauliflower together. Add some milk to thin if needed.
  • Season to taste.
  • Garnish with paprika and/or parsley and serve.
