Lemonade

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Lemon juice if you’re squeezing, that will be 15-20 lemons, depending on size
  • Lemon juicing tip - microwave each lemon for 10 seconds or roll it briskly on the counter to get more of the juice out of it.
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 12 cups of water
  • 1-2 lemons for garnish
  • 1 cup of other fruit such as strawberries are optional reserve some for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Start with 12 cups of hot tap water and stir in the the sugar until dissolved.
  • Add the lemon juice and stir it all together.
  • If adding other fruit, save some for a garnish (i.e. slice a couple of strawberries) and put the remainder in a blender. Add 2-3 cups of the lemonade and puree it all together. Add this back to the lemonade.
  • Slice 1 or 2 lemons (plus some of the other optional fruit) to add to the pitcher as a garnish.
  • Serve over ice.
