Italian Green Beans

Ingredients
  

  • 1 # green beans trimmed.
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ tsp Kosher salt
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch cracked black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook the green beans until just tender by boiling, steaming, or in the microwave – I prefer to steam them.
  • Heat a large skillet over the stove, and then add the oil and butter.
  • When the butter is melted, add the garlic, seasonings, bread crumbs and Parmesan. Stir to coat and then sauté slowly over a low flame until the bread crumbs are lightly browned.
  • Add the tender cooked beans and stir through to coat the beans.
