Peel, Cube, and boil the potatoes in generously salted water until tender
Drain the water and place the potatoes and other ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Beat with hand mixer, adding milk as needed for the right consistency.
Transfer to your slow cooker bowl, top with dollops of butter, and sprinkle a little paprika over the top.
Cover and store in the fridge until your holiday.
Cook on low power for at least 6 hours.
If you prefer to use your microwave, spread the mashed potatoes into shallow greased baking dish and microwave on low power for 30 minutes.
