Ingredients
4
leftover hamburgers
or 1 pound of leftover meat loaf or 1 pound of browned ground beef
Gravy ingredients:

Tbsp
reserved fat from cooked meat
beef or bacon or 4 Tbsp butter
½
medium sized onion
chopped
1
bell pepper
chopped
1
can of mushrooms
or 1 cup of fresh mushrooms, cut into pieces

cups
beef broth

Tbsp
corn starch
Salt and pepper to taste
Biscuits
toast, mashed potatoes, cooked rice, or noodles.
Instructions
Crumble the hamburgers or meat loaf.
Start your gravy by heating the butter or fat over medium heat in a mid-sized sauce pan or skillet.
Add the vegetables to the butter and cook until soft or lightly browned.
Stir the corn starch into the beef broth and then slowly add the broth to the vegetables, stirring continuously to make it smooth.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste. Then add the crumbled hamburgers.
Serve over toast, biscuits, mashed potatoes, noodles or rice.
