Strips of Bacon

cup
of onion
finely diced
1
clove
of garlic
finely diced
Balsamic Vinegar
Instructions
Trim the ends from the green beans.
Cook the bacon in a deep fry pan or large sauce pan until it's well browned and most of the fat is rendered.
Remove the bacon to a cutting board, and add the beans to the bacon grease.
Toss the beans in the bacon grease and cook them over medium heat until they begin to wilt.
Add enough water to cover the beans, and simmer them until they reach your desired level of doneness.
While the beans are cooking, fine dice the bacon into bits.
Drain the water and then add the bacon to the beans.
Add a splash or two of balsamic vinegar to the pan and stir through.
