for more flavor depth: 1 tsp of vinegar and 1 Tbsp of tomato paste.
Instructions
Melt the butter in a skillet and then blend in the flour using a whisk. Stir steadily until the roux turns to a peanut butter color.
Whisk in the broth until smooth and bring to a simmer to thicken.
Whisk in the remaining ingredients.
Taste and adjust for salt and pepper.
