Fruit Rolls

Ingredients
  

  • Applesauce
  • Fresh or frozen fruit such as strawberries blueberries or raspberries, or
  • Flavored gelatin
  • Optional - coconut or chopped nuts
  • Optional - honey for added sweetness

Instructions
 

  • Wipe the silicone trays for your dehydrator with a light coat of oil, or if using your convection oven place parchment paper on a sheet pan and spray with non-stick spray
  • Mix the applesauce with the fresh fruit or fruit gelatin in a blender
  • Spread the fruit on the tray evenly, about 1/4" thick.
  • If you are adding coconut or chopped nuts, sprinkle those over the top after spreading on the tray.
  • Set your food dehydrator or oven to 140 degrees, and dry for 5-8 hours until the fruit is dry and not tacky.
  • Cut into strips and roll up while still warm.
  • Place into the fridge to set them, you can tie them with twine if you like.
