Ingredients

trimmed green beans
4-6
strips of bacon
½
cup
of chopped onion
Garlic Powder
Black Pepper
Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
Trim the ends from the green beans and cut in half if they’re more than a mouthful.
Cut the bacon into ½ inch pieces.
Chop the onion.
Heat a large skillet with a lid over medium heat, and then fry the bacon until it’s crisp.
Remove the bacon and add the onion, cook until soft.
Add the green beans and stir through. Put the lid on the skillet and cook over medium-low heat for 10 minutes to steam the beans.
Remove the lid and raise the heat to high for a few minutes to brown the onions and beans a little.
Add the bacon back, sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper (there will be plenty of salt from the bacon and the cheese).
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
