Instructions
Pour the tomato sauce into a fine mesh strainer, to thicken it slightly.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
Whisk in the flour and chili powder, continuing to whisk until the flour starts to brown.
Add the chicken stock and tomato sauce to the roux, whisking continuously while adding them.
Add the seasonings and whisk through.
Turn the heat down to medium and simmer for ~10 minutes until it reaches the right consistency.
