1can of fruit pie filling or three cups of fresh fruit sprinkled with sugar to create some juice.
Instructions
Start 24 charcoal briquets, or pull your coals from a fire.
Mix the flour, sugars, and oats; then cut in and stir through the butter
Place a liner in your Dutch oven.
Spread 2/3 of the oats mixture on the bottom
Spread on the fruit filling and then the rest of the oats mix over the top.
Place 6 coals under and 18 coals on the lid and bake for 45 minutes; rotate the lid a 1/4 turn and the oven a 1/4 turn in the opposite direction every 10 minutes.
