Crostini

Ingredients
  

  • 1 baguette loaf or any other long loaf of bread, cut on the bias.
  • Olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Basil or Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  • Slice the baguette or bread on the bias (diagonally) 1/4-1/2 inch thick.
  • Lay the slices on a baking sheet.
  • Pour a half cup of oil into a bowl, and using a basting brush spread some oil on both sides of each slice.
  • Sprinkle lightly with some salt (not too much).
  • Bake at 400 for 10 minutes.
  • After baking, sprinkle them with some basil or Italian seasoning.
  • Serve with dips, on an antipasto platter, or use to make bruschetta.
