Grate one of the orange peels to use later as garnish.
In a medium saucepan, boil the orange juice and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
Peel the orange and puree it.
Peel, quarter and chunk the apple and the pear.
Combine with the dried fruit and coarse chop in a food processor.
Reduce the heat to a simmer, and stir in cranberries, pureed orange, apple, pear, dried fruit, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst.
Remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature.
Garnish with a little grated orange peel.
