Camp Fire Tacos

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 # per person steak, pork, or chicken
  • Seasoning of your choice
  • Green pepper - bell poblano, or Anaheim
  • White Onion
  • Roma Tomatoes
  • Small soft tortillas
  • Hot sauce
  • Limes or lime juice
  • Fresh or dried cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Slice the pepper and onion thinly, and then season them lightly
  • Cut the tomato into small cubes and set aside in a bowl
  • Season your meat and cook over the fire.
  • Heat a cast iron skillet, add some oil and cook the sliced peppers and onions. Don't let them overcook.
  • Remove the meat when it's browned on the outside but rare on the inside. Slice the meat thinly and then add to the skillet to finish cooking.
  • When the meat is finished, place the skillet on the table along with the tortillas, tomatoes, hot sauce and cut limes or lime juice.
  • Assemble your tacos, and enjoy!
