Ingredients
  

  • 4 Pork Shoulder Steaks
  • Brine
  • Black Pepper or a low salt BBQ Rub
  • BBQ Sauce

Instructions
 

  • I like to brine the pork steaks overnight to add flavor and moisture.
  • Preheat your grill to high (they taste even better cooked over an open fire).
  • Remove the pork steaks from the brine and let them drain.
  • Place the pork steaks on the hot grill and season with freshly ground black pepper (the brine should have made them salty enough) or a low salt pork rub.
  • Reduce the heat to medium high, and cook on each side for 4-5 minutes.
  • Brush the pork steaks with BBQ sauce, and cook them another 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • Cook the pork steaks until they feel firm when you pick them up. Internal temp will be in the 150-165 range.
